This isn't really a major update, but Octopus City Blues demo was released back in October as part of the Next Fest event and we never got to officially announcing it here. Since the release, we've made quite a few changes. Here's a partial list:

• Added numerous hints based on player feedback.
• Almost every character now has a special response when the Slimeling is following Kaf.
• Introduced a "Facts and Figures" statistics screen that can be viewed at any time and at the end of the demo.
• Fixed several bugs and potential crashes.
• Applied various text improvements, balancing tweaks, and quality of life changes.
• Wrote over 100 new NPC item and gossip responses.

Thanks to everyone who tried the demo, especially our Discord server users and those who reported bugs or gave us feedback. Please look forward to the end of human civilization the full release in 2024!
